The movie is about a young F.B.I. cadet that is on the trails of a vicious serial killer. But for her to succeed catching him, she must receive the help of an incarcerated and manipulative cannibal killer to catch the madman who skins his victims.
3. Se7en
Two detectives, a rookie and a veteran, hunt a serial killer who uses the seven deadly sins as his motives.
4. Mr. Brooks
Starring Kevin Kostner as the serial killer and Demi Moore as the agent investigating his crimes, this movie is a psychological thriller about a serial killer who is sometimes controlled by his murderer alter ego.
5. The Bone Collector
A quadriplegic ex-homicide detective and a young agent partner up to try to track down a serial killer who is terrorizing New York City.
6. Kiss The Girls
If you missed Morgan Freeman in Se7en as a detective, well here is again in Kiss The Girls. He plays a detective hunting for a serial kidnapper and help arrives when a victim manages to escape for the first time.
7. Zodiac
By this time you probably heard about the serial killer Zodiac who was never caught. This movie is about an amateur detective obsessed with catching the Zodiac serial killer.
8. The Snowtown Murders
Based on true events, 16 year-old Jamie falls in with his mother’s new boyfriend and his crowd of self-appointed neighborhood watchmen. A dangerous relationship that ends up in a spree of murders.
9. Dahmer

10. Taking Lives
An FBI profiler played by Angelina Jolie, is called in by French Canadian police to help catch a serial killer who takes on the identity of each new victim he murders.
BONUS
The last movie we’ll be adding here, is not technically about a serial killer, but boy oh boy it is even darker than that.
The movie is titled The Treatment (original title ‘De Behandeling’) and it is made in Belgium, so you’ll have to find a dubbed version or one with subtitles. It is a dark movie meant to linger in your mind after you watch it. The story is about a detective hunting for a child murderer, but he gets taken back in time, while investigating the case, to his brother’s disappearance. Thy story unfolds very dramatically and the end will blow you away.
